Dawgs - 0   Petal - 0

Saturday seemed like a fitting day for high school soccer as temperatures dropped and the wind picked up making for a chilly start .

The Dawgs kicked things off at 11 am against class 6A Petal. FC keeper Jordan Clark made several nice saves to preserve a  0 - 0 tie. The FC defense also played well led by Senior center back Brendon Beach , left back Quay Allen, and right back DJ Booker.

The midfield played well on both ends as Senior Jonathan Rogers , Juniors Johnnie Moore , Hoby Mullins, and Sophomore Ethan Kemo worked hard on both ends.

Junior forward Zane Mullins and freshman forward Bryce White created several chances offensively.

"We played very well in all phases against a good 6A team. We got a chance to look at several players who can come off the bench and give us a spark. It was great to get teams out to our complex and have a great day of soccer.

Thanks to so many for making the FC Soccer Complex one of the top soccer facilities in the state." - Coach Long
