On a wet and cold night, our "Soccer Dawgs" tied a school record getting to 9 wins without a loss. The Dawgs can set the new mark with a win Friday night at McLaurin.
Junior forward Zane Mullins got off to a fantastic start getting a hat trick in the first half of play. His first goal was on a nice through ball from Freshman midfielder Kyle McCormick. Just a minute later , Zane hit the left window after Junior forward Greg Queen dropped a nice pass where Mullins connected on the 'one timer'. The hat trick came on a loose ball in the box when Mullins struck the ball into the upper left corner.
Defensively, Senior GK Trey Bailey made 8 saves and posted another shutout. Senior defenders Matt Brasher, Quay Allen, and Brendan Beach continued their outstanding play allowing Brookhaven very little room to pose any kind of offensive attack.
